College Credit Plus @ Pleasant HS

The College Credit Plus annual meeting was Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 6:30pm in the HS cafeteria. 
A make up meeting will be held at Marion Technical College on February 13, 2019 at 6pm.

Pleasant HS Information
All College Credit Plus students (both dual enrollment and on campus) must complete a new State Participation form each school year. This must be completed by April 1, 2019 for the 2019-20 school year. Click here for the form.

Click here for the College Credit Plus course district tuition reimbursement policy. This has been in effect since the summer prior to the 2016-17 school year.

Any student who fails a CCP-Dual Enrollment course from MTC, Columbus State, or Ashland will be charged the cost of tuition and book for the course.


MTC-dual enrollment students must apply online at https://www.mtc.edu/future-students/college-credit-plus/. Students must have a college ready score in the area of English (18), Reading (22), or Math (22) on the ACT; other ACT subject scores may be required for certain classes (Ex. English, Math). 
An Accuplacer may also be taken free of charge. An equivalent college ready score must be achieved on the Accuplacer. MTC students who took a class the previous school year, do NOT need to reapply.

Ashland University Information

Ashland-dual enrollment students must apply online by June 1st at https://www.ashland.edu/admissions/apply-now Click on the college credit plus link.

Students must have a composite score of 18 on the ACT, 2.5 GPA, two units of math, English, science, and social studies.
Ashland students who took a class the previous school year, do NOT need to reapply.

Columbus State Community College
Columbus State-dual enrollment students must apply online by April 1st. at https://www.cscc.edu/admissions/ccp-app.shtml For Physics 1200, students must have an 18 on the English ACT and 26 on the Math ACT (or completion of College Algebra). For Chem 1200, students must have an 18 on the English and a 20 on the Math ACT. Students must have also taken HS Biology and Chemistry I.
