Graduation Requirements
Course Requirements: 4 credits of English, 4 credits of Math (including Algebra II), 3 credits of Social Studies (including 1 credit in American History; Government), 3 credits of Science (including 1 credit in Physical; Life), 1/2 credit of Health; 1/2 credit of PE, 6 electives (including one credit of fine art).
Beginning with the Class of 2021, a 1/2 credit of World History is also required.
The Class of 2018 and beyond must:
1) Complete all course requirements.
2) Take End of Course exams in English I, English II, Algebra I, Geometry, American History,
Biology and Government.
3) Meet one of the following three:
a)Earn a minimum of 18 points on the end of course exams.
-4 minimum points in English
-4 minimum points in Math
-6 minimum points in Science/Social Studies
-4 additional points in any area
b) Reach a remediation-free score on an approved college admissions test. Ex. ACT
English-18; Math-22; Reading-22)
c) Earn an approved industry credential or state approved license AND earn a workforce
ready score on the career assessment WorkKeys. (This pathway would be completed
through a vocational school such as Tri Rivers Career Center).
